@Rocket Your answers lead me to conclude that you are indeed either Harry Potter or Tom Riddle. Sub cats for snakes and it works. If this is true, sign me up for being a Death Eater. I know you're gonna win this time.

@Padme I'd probably have a heart attack and drown if I went there. I have no problem looking at pictures or watching videos, though. But seeing it live... A couple months ago, I almost passed out in a boat, and it wasn't really moving. It's an irrational fear.

@argonate @Jess Thank you for making this quiz the equivalent to the shrieking shack. Your houses have each been awarded an a** midget. Props to Napi for introducing me to said possession.

Next you get a man platter! Congratulations!

@Padme Uhmm what now? I don't think it's something I want to google. The last time I googled something from Jess I had to (figuratively) wash behind my eyeballs.

2. If you were an animagus what form would you take?

Some sort of aquatic creature like a fish.

3. If you were to be a mythical creature from HP what would you be?

A mermaid.

4. What would your Patronus be?

A dolphin.

Considering your affinity for these. We can get you something for your birthday from here http://www.freshwate.../request-quote/

Using my resurrection stone on this thread.

Can we talk about Horcruxes? Some questions.

1. Like what are the official rules you think? Because I'm sure if the point were to make somebody invincible that you could make a grain of sand or the Atlantic Ocean your Horcrux. Maybe it has to be something incredibly dear to the creator or maybe it has to be something which was once incredibly dear to someone. I mean I haven't read HP in a long while and I was on a borrowed copy of the last one so I kind of had to speed read and missed any "rules".

2. If you could make a Horcrux from a living entity (such a Nagini), would it not have made more sense to make a Horcrux out of a Phoenix?

3. If the Phoenix dies and is reborn, does it count as the Horcrux being destroyed or would that be the one true indestructible Horcrux?

4. If you make a Horcrux out of an egg and somebody poaches it? If it's hatched? Would the Horcrux be destroyed the moment the shell is cracked or would it transfer to it's next form (be that eggs benedict or a basilisk).

Also,

YOU LIED.

YOU LIED.

Horcrux's evoke the first rule of magic. That's the best that I know, maybe someone else knows more? Basically if you tamper with the sacred mysteries of magic aka the essence of life you will suffer the worst consequences. i.e. when we see Voldemort's shrivelled dying body in that 'purgatory' kind of scene in the final movie. Where we know that it is likely that death would be preferred. Herpo the foul is the only other wizard I know of that created horcruxes and Professor Slughorn stated that he believed if he was alive that he would rather be dead in the state he would be existing in.

I do believe though that these items have to be something you believe hold valuable and are of intrinsic value to your life. Horcruxes are difficult to destroy so I believe they would also be somewhat 'immortal' while they are a horcrux because they hold an 'immortal' soul within them. It's interesting to me that Nagini didn't come back like Harry did since Nagini was also a living creature.

As for Fawkes (the phoenix we know the most about), or any other phoenix there are a number of contributing factors as to why they wouldn't make a suitable horcrux. Firstly, they are an immortal being, if what I hypothesize is true then it would seem impossible to dock a piece of a mortals soul attempting to be immortal in another already immortal being. Also, all things in nature balance out usually in the real world and fictionally. If one did bond their soul to a phoenix there would then be a way to destroy a phoenix. This is impossible, therefore it would not be able to be done. Phoenix's also have healing abilities with their tears which I assume is a reaction inside themselves so if a foreign wizard/witch tried to perform this spell it's possible the phoenix could 'heal' themselves before it could bond. Just an idea. If this were possible it is likely that one of the only wizards able to perform this bonding would of been dumbledore since he was bonded to Fawke's quite deeply on many levels. It is possible that this is the truth since Fawke's 'died' and Dumbledore was killed after this passing making it possible for him to die but he lived for an extended period of previously and was attributed to the philosophers stone but doesn't explain how he lived after it was 'destroyed.' Also attributed to his ownership of all the hallows? Something to consider.

I think it would be very unwise to make a horcrux out of an egg since they are fragile. If you were to make a horcrux it would likely be to the baby creature inside of it, be it a chicken or basilisk. If you made it out of a cooking egg then it would likely be ruined when someone cracked it since cooking changes the composition of the egg. As well, things that were once easily destroyed become difficult to destroy once they are a horcrux so perhaps the egg would then not crack and be more difficult to destroy.

Just a few thoughts... nerding out. These might be wrong since I'm not quite up on my HP knowledge as I used to be.

Terry Pratchett on the first rule of magic: "You could do it all by magic. You could wave a wand and get twinkly stars and a fresh-baked loaf. You could make fish jump out of the sea ready cooked. And then, somewhere, somehow, magic would present its bill, which was always more than you could afford."

In which case, it makes sense why he would choose Nagini instead of like one of the forks in Hogswarts :)

Spoilers for book 6 and possibly 5

I mean, I got my doubts that anyone still cares, but I dig these quizzes.

1. What would the boggart appear as to you? Huge spider or else luggage requiring itself to be packed after I'm late for a flight home.

2. If you were an animagus what form would you take? Huge spider.

3. If you were to be a mythical creature from HP what would you be? Probably the huge spider.

4. What would your Patronus be? Um, maybe a huge spider?

5. What house would you be in? Ravenclaw. Or Slytherin, but probably Ravenclaw.

6. Who is your HP spirit animal? (What character do you feel represents you best?) Aragog. Everyone irritates me and I want to eat them.

7. If you were to pick one of three deathly hallows and can't have any of the rest, which would you choose? Probably the cloak.

8. If you had to make a horcrux what would you make it? Like an obsolete cell phone no one wants to steal.

9. What would you see in the Mirror or Erised. Myself, Finally getting access to the marketplace on Neocodex.

10. What food/treat/drink from Harry Potter do you most wish to try? Chocolate frog. I tried the fire whiskey. Too much like Fireball. Gross.
