Just do it.
Sometime i admire those "WHITE" peoples that good in saving because most of times they had nothing to buy and only bring along their favourite story-book for outing trip. ![]()

This is so funny XD
I think the best way to set it aside some of your money. Break down and separate money for certain things. like $50 for coffee this month
or things like that :3

I'm probably the absolute last person anyone should ever consider asking advice for when it comes to money.. but to stay on topic I'll just say something like.. Don't spend any money? I mean you can easily live on water/milk/bread and butter/rice/pasta/noodles... cheap shit like that, but it'll be pretty shit... To be fully honest though, look at ur budget, write all ur costs down, any you can think of. Make lists, weekly costs, monthly, yearly, quarterly, daily. include all bills, grocery amounts (roughly)... Fuel per week/etc etc include even the average you'd spend a week or whatever on games/apps/movies...
Then just figure out exactly how much on average per week you would spend or need to spend to cover your costs and you'll see how much you could actually save. The biggest money eater is take away. the 2nd biggest are the small purchases while at work/away from home. Just plan what you need once a week or once a fortnight and shop only once, and only buy whats on your shopping list. You should easily be able to save money and still have some put aside for emergencies and for SOME spending money.. though a lot of people don't really see how much they spend until they write it all down and work it out..
On another note, I used to be able to speak like you! ![]()

Ugh! I used to be a spending fiend.
A combination of mild ocd so have to have all of something (comic series, tcg set, etc) and then other days tend to go on a shopping binge when feeling upset, depressed, or whatever.
One trick I've found that helps with my former poor spending habits, and actually other aspects of my life as well, is to actually write out by hand some short term and long term goals involving your finances. I find it helps give you a sense of direction, and much easier to keep on track that way. Post that list someplace you see it frequently. Mine is right by my computer monitor so it's always right there.
Couple examples from my own list:
Pay off credit card "X".
Buy Suicide Squad vol 4 #1 2nd printing.
Fix driver's side window.
Buy a house.
Have a balance of short term and long term. Responsible and fun.
The fun ones are a sort of reward for doing well. So positive reinforcement.
Hope this helps.
Good luck! ![]()

Yeah, I put aside roughly half of my pleasure money monthly into savings so I still have money to do some things.
Like games... they cost money sadly

Fear not large expenditures, only small incomes.

I find the easiest way to save money is not to spend it. BOOM!

I find that spending money on basic necessities and not spending it on less important stuff (like TVs, video games and watches) is the best way to save money.
