i always keep 1M too, because the two years lost a Draik potion by 1M in auction (now cost less than that ¬ ¬)Always leave separately for sniper xD.

I always leave been 700K and 1.5M on hand when Abing.. and I let it run until my nps are all gone. Usually end up with some really nice stuff.

500k always on hand for me. I typically ab in low risk/cheapish shops. So, it doesn't take much, but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

I lost an One Hundred Million Neopoint Stamp ages ago because I had Insufficient funds. I might have cried!

 

When Abrosia says "Insufficient funds" it means I would have bought it should I have funds or even with neopoints I could still miss it?

I think it means you would've gotten it had you had the neopoints. Hence the "insufficient funds" and not just "missed it"

but i think as long as you get to the haggle page and you dont have enough money it will give this error

even if the item is long sold out

I only keep 100k on me whenever I autobuy, since I only autobuy in the post office, where the most profitable items are never more than 10k. Autobought a 3 mil stamp around an hour ago, pretty happy !
