Too bad all the free food at my college will throw all my diet plans off for the next two months.
Gotta use that self-control as much as possible. Try and stick to fruits, veggies, and proteins out of all the free food, if you can!
I appreciate that some of us have different goals, however I think we should not try to cram them all into the same competition. If someone wants to host a gainers or other type of competition that would be awesome, but I think it should definitely be separate from the Biggest Loser.
That said, I love the idea of incorporating food and exercise logs and pictures optionally. I don't think they should have bearing on the actual winners but possibly count toward bonus prizes.
Also I prefer the 12 week format just for better results but I realize it's hard to keep a virtual group of people motivated and engaged for that long.
Yup, we've pretty much decided to stick to weight for this. Too convoluted, otherwise. The only pictures required for this contest will be weekly (or longer) scale pics that only I will see. Also, I'll only see people's feet, the number on the scale, and their proof paper. Anonymity for the win. The food logs and exercise pics would've been for the other divisions, but I'm cool with giving out bonus prizes for them in this contest!
I also think it's a good idea to have separate competitions for these other things, but I hope the other competitions will have equivalent rewards.
...and that someone will step up and host them.
I'm willing to do the hosting part on one of them if nobody else wants to, but I don't think I'm the most qualified, and I would have to ask for prize donations
