Where were you in Florida? I was about a mile for maybe a little bit more from the beach so usually everyone went after school. And yes, the humidity is actually ridiculous. Everything just sticks to you, ugh. And I'm moving back in 7 days.
Yep about 2 miles to the beach (1.5 to the intracoastal, it's my "hill" in my run, HA!) Moving back in time for the hottest wettest nastiest part of the wet season. Why oh god why, you are doing it reverse! GO BACK! TAKE ME WITH YOU!

I'm fairly sure there were some Tube stations which must have been around that temperature when I was down there.
Not good if you're also getting a face full of somebody else's armpit.
And then the train arrives, and you get an even better whiff of odour. At least it brings some breeze with it.

What other games do you guys play? All I play is Sims lol
I like this question more than the ones in the post!
Right now I'm playing a mobile game, compulsively, called Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North. Build cities, raise army, kill bitches.
Other than that, League of Legends. ![]()

I'm far too lazy to read this whole thread and see what you guys are talking about, so hi. I just got home from my daughter's soccer tournament, they won 2 of 3 games. ![]()

Temperature here can easily reach +45C during summer every year. I love it. We also have really cold winters with snow and everything. Double love it.@FelisNoctua. I'm super morbid. The kind of person who stops in the middle of the road to see road kill being eaten away by maggots. I'm not a psycho, I don't kill animals for fun, I'm just interested in death in general. I think it all began when I was a kid and heard my mum and some neighbors when we're on vacations talking about how they used to take pictures of dead babies before bury them so the parents could have a pic of their child. That fascinated me and I started a research about it lol. It kinda escalated a bit, but I'm happy to say I don't have my walls covered in dead people pictures so it's okay.About the food... I boil the spaghetti with salt. Make the scrambled eggs in margarine with chopped garlic, onion and pepper, then I mix the spaghetti in the eggs with a pinch of grated cheese. It's not beautiful, but it tastes like heaven.
It IS super interesting! And someone has to be interested in it, dammit, or we'd all still be thinking swamp gas caused malaria and cold weather causes pneumonia. Sheesh. I wanted (still want?) to be a forensic pathologist, but you need a medical degree and not only is that expensive, I took so long to get back into college that I wouldn't qualify anyway. Maybe after my masters, but I'd be so deficient in certain credits I'd basically need a whole premed degree. So I just watch Bones and complain when things are done weirdly or wrong. I love that the author is a real forensic pathologist, but her books are a bit, not dry, but, disjoint. The show is obviously for non-scientists, but it's fun nonetheless. Hmm, kind of sounds all serial killery to be like "I can't do what I want so I watch it vicariously". Eek. My roommate apparently thinks being interested in death and dead biology makes one unbalanced. But.. it's science yo! And a puzzle. Who doesn't like puzzles?
I must try this scrambled egg sketti. Thanks!

Me too, I thought I was going to miss this. I'm proud of her, and her team. They usually have 7 girls to switch around a let some take breaks, but there was only 4 today, they trooped through all 3 games, no breaks and have improved so much since they started a month ago.

Thankfully it never really gets that packed on trains up north and hardly any of it is underground so it also doesn't get particularly hot.
We're also generally more fragrant than southerners, of course.

That's really great. I wish I'd been involved in a team sport as a kid.

I played soccer when I was a little girl. I don't remember much of it but it was a nice way to make friends and the end-of-season pizza parties alone were worth it to a 7 or 8 year old. ![]()

I was, but I played Curling. -.- My parents choose the slowest most boring sport ever for me to play lool.

I hope so LOL. I have so much to do today, but I'm procrastinating. I still have to find a blue house for that scavenger hunt too.

It's definitely an awesome way to make friends, my daughter has really come out of her shell since starting. Plus they get freezies every game.

NOT GONNA LIE, I'm kind of jealous. Curling looks chill ( ahaha get it? ) and I always find myself watching it at the Winter Olympics. I'd be very interested to try it.

Oh my. Yep. I'd totally love going to pathology as well. But 5 years to med school? And THEN forensics? It would eat +10 years and I'm already 29 so, I'll stick to the TV to satiate my craves lol.
Bones is amazing (and I forgot to put that on my TV hows list along with CSI). My husband says that in an alternate universe my doppelganger must have turned into a serial killer when I joined the military because there's no way a GIRL can be this screwed up (his words, not mine). I could say a lot about this subject but I'm struggling with my english and trying not to sound like a first degree weirdo. So I'll shut up now. xD
I'd be very interested to try it.
Pick a mop and scrub your floor. It's basically the same.

I hate sports, but I've tried a lot when I was a kid. Volleyball, soccer, basketball, swimming, taekwondo... Never got into them.
Yeah, I played soccer for six years and basketball for one. I was terrible at both.

LOL .
It's way more boring on TV then it is actually playing the game. I played from when I was 8 until I was 14. I have a whole trophy case too haha, but it's at my dads house.
