Someone else pointed this out to me, but has anyone else noticed a sudden large influx of colorful pets (gold, biscuit, desert, shadow, etc) in the pound? Most of them have pretty crappy names, but has anyone else noticed this?

I think it's a consequence of the deflation. Paint brushes are cheaper than ever.

Could partially be Clraik's adopt-a-pet thing. They have a birthday list, so people have been adopting them for cakes and them redumping them. They're not supposed to be zapping them, but some people are. (I get this wouldn't account for so many.)

Some people adopt pets and give them color so they have a chance to be adopted. It's cute, but a waste of money -_-

I'm thinking it has to do with a combination of PB deflation like Nick pointed out and the fact that people have been leaving in droves. Neo is turning into a ghost town.
