I suspect it means that all their mod staff probably work remotely and there was nobody in the office over the weekend for them to inform about what happened which is why it took until Monday for them to actually do anything. If they had even a single programmer in the office over the weekend they could have easily took everything down to prevent these things taking place...

That's what I was thinking. Even if one moderator was working over the weekend do they not have a supervisor they could have called or even emailed? There wasn't even a reply on facebook until monday. Is it possible literally no one works weekends?

TNT made it on purpose. It was all intentional. It has to be, there's no explanation to leave a site on its own for 48 hours.

I know what will happen. They'll say that while they were fixing the boards, they accidentally deleted the AC records, resulting in them canceling the whole thing. That's how they will deal with cheaters.

I suppose evryone has their own theories about all this.
For me it's one of these:
1. They did it on purpose just for the giggles. When I mean "they", I'm refering to the new staff, or the old ones who got fired and did it as revenge.
2. It's an excuse to implement something drastic, and this a way to justify it.
3. They're removing the boards completely and wanted an excuse.

There's more from this topic, I recognize some of my poorly cropped screenies. But isn't this part of the forums public? Pretty sure there'll have been a lot of people suspecting us of this madness and went to check it out.

It is public, but I don't think they'd come on here just to post screenshots to tumblr after they realized this wasn't our fault and we can't hack neopets to make the filters stop working. They'd come on here to see if we were doing it, and when they found out we weren't, I don't think they'd come back or save screenshots from this thread.

I just want to say that I hadn't been on Neopets in about 5 days when this all broke out. I was getting messages about it though - and I knew you guys were up to something when I saw juanismyqueen. I didn't have time to check in during the chaos, but well done.
