Hm, that's definitely strange. Skipping one day always worked for me to start spinning it earlier. Try to skip it for the next 2 days (+47hrs) to see if it resets properly so you can spin in in the morning, maybe? It's the only thing I can see that would work.

I never pay much attention to the symbols, just the NP and Boxes (if applied).

But I wouldn't say that's strange (since there are only 5 different symbols), as long as you're receiving the prizes stated in the pop-up.
