It feels like every month a new shitty thing Facebook does comes out to public.

I miss the old Facebook back when it was just about getting in touch with your friends and family. Now it's nothing but a money-hungry corporation. If so many of my (friends) weren't on it, I'd have dumped it long ago.

I love the people who made that video. Their videos on the Fermi paradox are really cool. They have a lot of great videos with awesome information.

But, on the subject of Facebook, like all companies and ideas it can eventually be used in a negative way. I will say without Facebook, I never would have been able to get in touch with my half-brother. I was adopted and using the very little information I had on him, I was able to track him down via Facebook.

Edit: Also, I realize my little personal two cents was unrelated to the topic. It's a shame so many independent artists and creators lose views to Facebook, which is the only revenue they get, from advertisements and shit.

Google should be the one taking action towards this. I'm not even sure if they could though. Since aparently  facebook is embedding the videos but is just using their own player and embeding is fine  Feels bad for all the revenue loss
