This year is a leap year. On Monday Februrary 29, a whole additional day is added to the calendar.

With that said, I propose, the Day of Rektoning--the one day where negative rep is active. This is a special time because leap year only happens once every 4 years and this is should be in place because I am self-entitled to my healthy release of hate.

Each person is limited to the same number of neg rep as normal rep.

May the staff have restraint for they have unlimited rep.

This sounds more like it belongs on Halloween. Or the night before Halloween, Devil's Night.  Or April Fools day. Not in February, which has Valentine's Day in it.

Wait is this for reals?

It's in the suggestions form, so I'm guessing this is a suggestion.

THIS IS A GREAT IDEA.

I think she means The Purge: Anarchy, a movie.

Hm. Sounds vaguely familiar. Is that the movie of a bunch of people murdering other people once a year?

I had a dream related to this movie 4 days ago. I woke up crying, for real.

I hope something of similar effect happens on this day. Except it's no dream.

i'm not opposed to neg rep per se but how about we change the concept from downvoting someone to taking away the reps you gave to people? what i mean is, let people cancel their reps to others instead of making it permanent like it currently is. i think it will lessen the chance of abuse because you can't reduce someone's rep unless you've repped them before. i think half of the reps i've given out is purely accidental when i'm trying to quote them. it happens so often it's not even funny. :/

not sure if ip:board supports this feature tho.

Not in February, which has Valentine's Day in it.

That day alone needs to be showered with negative rep.
