Brevity is the soul of wit.
Straight to the point and first to the punch, one-liners are statements that need no context to be stimulating and stir action and/or emotion in the audience. All with only a drop of ink. They can be anything from jokes, insults, famous last words, inspiration quotes, nonsense, and beyond. In many forms of media, one-liners highlight the pinnacle of comedy and intellectual discourse.
