I'm surprised this place hasn't died a death.

I'm glad it hasn't. Then I wouldn't know the glory that is your bitterness and loathing. xD

Back in 1996 little four year old me KNEW that in 2016 we'd have flying cars, high speed internet that you can connect from almost anywhere in the world, that you could play nintendo games on your computer, and that you could get groceries right off the internet.

Everything except one thing has happened.

    Flying cars.

Bring on the flying cars 2016!

We rebranded as NeoCupid about 10 months ago so we should be receiving exciting news on that subject any time now really.

I'm really surprised I haven't completely lost my mind dealing with people every day for over 2 years.

And a lack of stopping time or time travel.

It's like in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. My children are filthy half-bloods. Your children would be pure bloods.

I was 21 when I had my second kid ;) Just depends on the person. Definitely not something to take lightly though. Little humans are a lot of work. I think it's great you guys put yourselves and your educations first. Plus who says you even have to have kids!

People always look so offended when I tell them I don't want kids.

And then they feel like it's their obligation to make me change my mind...

Just tell them you can't have kids, that shuts them up pretty damn quick.

I always guilt trip people with that one! It's funny seeing their reaction when I've told them I've had a vasectomy.

Really glad my alcoholic, chain smoking, drug dealing sister smartened up when she had my nephew. She still has a big mouth and can't keep a career goal for more than a week, but at least she's stable.

It's not so much education first at this point and more immigration. :p

I've sorta been on both sides of this. I got married right before I turned 19. So naturally, everyone thought I was pregnant. There is nothing wrong with choosing to have a kid early if you can financially, emotionally, physically and intellectually provide for them.

On the same note, fuck those people @Susie. Your choice is your own. You do you. There is nothing wrong with not wanting a kid.

I've never had the desire to have a kid (but I'm not against it either) or had the maternal instinct. People are always like "oh you'll change your mind when you're older" (in a really patronizing voice). We have 7 billion people on this fucking planet.. xD I think we will survive without me reproducing. If I have a kid, it's not going to be to add meaning to my life. My husband is kinda flip-flopping with the idea of having a kid. He thinks he wants to be a dad but isn't sure. So, whether we have one or adopt one is going to depend on him.

Almost 30. Would give and do anything for a son or daughter of mine own...

But she's so adamant about not having one... always have and seemingly always will be that way... *dies a little inside*

Anyways, I'm pretty surprised civil war hasn't happened yet.
And I don't mean the Marvel movie or comics.

Sadly I'm not in the best of states if/when that shit does go down. lol...
