Soo, I saw it on DR and I didn't quite believe it, but I used my Google-fu.

 

The thread has been deleted, but all hail the cache feature and I have confirmed it, you can too.

 

What is it?  BunnyMod preys on newbies, using her official Mod Account to offer them 1500 T for rusted treasure chests, 5000 for Iron, and 15k for gilded.  And giving false values for Swipp materials like Silver Ore (1k)

Now this isn't nearly as bad as Neopet's legal troubles, but I'm basically relying on sunkcost fallacy to hang around if this is the administration.

Those are rates that I remember that were the current rates when I last played, which was quite a few months ago. Perhaps Gaia was just too lazy to actually look up current rates and just had these numbers remembered?

 

She has a giant shop which is advertised in her mod signature.  And the thread got deleted.  She doing dirty.

 

Gaia is actually friends with an offending pedophile who's actually on the site as well.

Iron treasure chests have sat around 10k and Gilded have sat between 30-40k (meaning, fluctuating up and down but normally resting roughly around there) for over a year.

 

Source: I am a loser who used to used chests for profitable T to G conversions and they deflated in Gems (not to 15k) but I still have a huge inventory of them, so I wait for them to increase and sell off 2-3 at a time. 

 

Rusted isn't too bad - they tend to sit around 2k. Won't talk about ore, I have no idea.

A few accounts ago I did a trade with Gaia for some celebration drop item.. like eternal snow or whatever it was.  I sent the items and waited and waited.  Despite the set price they offered, they waited 20 hours to pay... 1k less per item.  Because the demand had gone down... despite the fact that during those 20 hours they'd posted on their thread.  It was my first week on FR.  So yes, definitely a shitty, shady person.  It's deliberate, not accidental.

I'm growing to hate FR staff tbh. I used to like them.

The only ones I can't stand is Bunnymod and another Volunteer Mod I've forgotten the name of. They just seem so 'holier than thou' and all that.

Gaia is a bastard. I was selling something on a new account that was worth around 15k-20kg. Gaia mails me saying he/she can offer me 1000g for it, that it usually sold for 500g. I hate the dude. I think there should be a rule of some sort against mods trading with newbies.
