Has anyone else seen this Faerie Banner at the top of Neopets today? Is there an event coming up soon(When)?
Also has anyone been noting an increase in RE's ever since the banner has started showing up, or is it just me? I've gotten not only my first Faerie quest, in quite some time, today, but I've gotten about 5 or 6 items as well...

When is that normally held, and does that increase Random Events, or do you think that might just be unrelated?

The daily faerie quests is usually from the last week of February until mid March. I have no idea why would they put the banner so soon, though, and before Valentine's.
Maybe since all the old TNT got fired, JS doesn't understand the dates of some of the events too well, and though the daily quests were for the whole month so they put the banner up now? Or maybe they just didn't want to forget and put it up now? I'm going with the first one being more likely, seeing what JS has done so far.

That would be a good thing though...Right? If they had it for the entire month.

It would be, but considering the banner is up but the event hasn't started, it just looks like they put the banner up too early. Not sure of the reason, but sadly, it doesn't look like they also messed up when the event starts and how long it lasts.

If my memory doesn't fail this will be their second year organising the event (JS bought Neopets on March 2014 and we just had the evnt, I think). And last year they didn't fail with the dates, but it was also before the entire "leftovers" of the staff left, so... I just noticed the banner only appears in the homepage and it looks a bit funky, at the top of the entire page's layout, but it could be because I'm on mobile and the site is a dang mess.
And the art is atrocious. It looks like the old faeries before the abilities' revamp... Jesus.
It's like that on the desktop site as well. Apparently, according to a post on the boards, the event has started as early as the 7th before, but for the past couple years it's started on the 20th or so.

I saw something about the sweet grams thing starting the 4th and going through the 18th last year... Do you think they are just testing the banner, or will they be trying to do it before the sweet gram thingie?

I noticed this today and wandered the same. If it is a new event then wow JS actualy doing something I had pretty much given up hoping they would do something new.
