Hello! I was wondering if anyone is into card games as much as my friends and I are right now.

We played Monopoly Deal, Hearts, Poker, Big 2, Bridge during school days.

Now that we've started working we have played:

Saboteur

Resistance (Avalon is a favourite)

Citadels

Witches' Brew (out of print, but still an amazing game)

Ultimate Werewolves (Inquisition is one of the best)

Coup

Buccaneer

7 Wonders

Dixit

Five Tribes

Bang!

Guillotine

Ticket to Ride

I can't really think of more games which we might have played, but we are looking for new games right now. If anyone is recommending anything, we would definitely try. :3

My first thought was that I play Yugioh...and I'm not kidding. I don't play any of the ones you mentioned though.

Yeah used to play Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon TCG and Magic the Gathering. Used to try to play the old nerdy kinda comic type based card games but I was way too young to play the games properly. I sorta just liked seeing the awesome art on them half the time :p

Egyptian Rat Screw! It's super fun, we used to play it all the time in highschool. We didn't play following the exact rules, though, it was all about slapping (no letter thing). I even burst a vein(?) one time, my hand got black and it was pretty scary. Fun times.

I came here to say Egyptian Rat Screw and Pokemon. Best card games ever. I also like spoons and squares, but never had enough friends to do those.

Everyone is at least 20 in my group: plays conquest Uno. Conquest Uno plays all the rules of Uno except everyone's hands are viewable by everyone except for one card at any given time. Backstabbings and alliances ensue.

MtG, but pretty much exclusively commander

Used to play Pokemon when I was a kid, but never really had any friends who were interested. Still have cards somewhere.

Ultimate Werewolf when friends who own it are around

We tried Coup and weren't terribly impressed. It's still somewhere in the apartment

    House on the Hill

    DC Deck Building Game

My sister and her boyfriend have Ticket to Ride, which I like and my girlfriend's actually good at

    Spades for family get togethers

    Sets

Egyptian Rat Screw when my sister demands it. She's a lot faster than I am

Liar's Dice when I've got a bunch of D6's on hand

MtG Commander/EDH, MtG 10-Headed Hydra, YGO Advance Format, YGO Traditional Format, YGO Limitless Format, and YGO Goat Format. Working on developing a TCG/CCG with a buddy of mine, but funds are lacking ATM.

I've heard so much about MtG, but never actually tried it lol.

And unfortunately I have never played yugioh. I think the hype never reached my country?

Conquest Uno, Egyptian Rat Screw and Dominion sounds like possible games we might try. :p

Is that the card game that involves slapping your hand down onto a pile of cards? Because that game hurts.

No it involves using up the entire deck of cards in a single play because you use so many.

    Handy-slappy sounds fun though.

I used to hardcore play Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering.

It's been about 5 years though, but I still have my decks.

I ran a Zombie Trap deck in Yu-Gi-Oh and a Plains Soldier deck in Magic.

A buddy of mine used to bring all sorts of card games for the gang to play. I have to say I enjoyed Bang! the most. If you're still looking for new games to play, you could try Sentinels of the Multiverse. Your goal in the game is to beat up the villain with your buddies, so you could scale the difficulty in accordance to the amount of players.

I learnt bridge last year, but it's actually floating bridge instead of the legit game, but screwing with people's mind is always interesting. Had so much fun with it

I reccommend exploding kittens, it's a kinda chill game that my friend introduced to me recently. The art is contributed by one of the artists from The Oatmeal if anyone follows them, there's even a NSFW version  ;)

Play mafia - its not your traditional card game but uses cards to represent your characters. It's definitely a mind game, whereby you have to be really logical to guess who is the killer in the game. It definitely gets people talking to one another and its heaps of fun, my friends and i play it all the time.

Disadvantage: The rules can be quite hard to grasp initially, but once you get the hang of it, you'll question why you ever found it hard in the first place.

But here's the gameplay in case you're interested:
