As an off-topic side question, is it even worth using an autobuyer as a non-Advanced user? I always get a bunch of super HTS stuff and its in my store for like 6 months

Depends on which one you use. Typically you can get some stuff, but being advanced makes it much much easier.

 

(I only have two autobuyers I even trust enough to use.)

I only use Abrosia because I don't know any other ones but its frustrating as fuck when u use it as a pleb and suddenly ur restocking in gnome shop and bam u spent 80k and u can't get rid of it because nobody likes gnomes

Try this until you can afford advance (It's what I used to use before I was ADV+) It's not as good as if you buy premium for it, but I did make a pretty hefty profit off different food shops with it.

I dunno, I actually made a good profit with Abrosia before I got Advanced. I simply set my profit to "5000", and then I watched my Abrosia every once in a while. If I was in a lousy Shop, or found myself buying HTS/non-profitable stuff, I often closed and reopened it.

 

Although I did buy some HTS and non-profitable items fairly regularly, I also found myself buying profitable Neggs and Wearables and etc quite regularly, enough to turn quite a handsome profit to make me happy. And the variety of items I bought helped make me look authentic when I advertised my Shop on the boards too.

 

Your mileage may vary though, so yes, good idea to use ValorSuite or Lucid Autobuyer or something first I suppose (though I didn't). Another thing you can do is use an Autobuying list, you can use these on Abrosia even without Advanced. You'd only be able to buy from one Shop with a list (Adv or not), and without Adv you can't compete in Magic or Battle/Def Magic or Stamps, but you can get good profit from Books or Food or Wearables etc. And you'll be able to cut out non-profitable or HTS items with a list too. Search around the forums for a list topic or guide, there are a few.

I have never bought a Negg with Abrosia (i guess u could say im neggver lucky) but I didn't know I could use AB lists with non-Advanced Abrosia

 

I wouldn't know what to buy so I'll just look up a guide tomorrow

DIscarding MSPP/SuAP boards are always funny to watch. Half of them probably don't even have the item or don't go through with it.

@Meloetta (You could also use a list...and then use ValorSuite to give you better wait, pre-haggle, OCR, and buy times! Since AB lists are the same for both programs. )

I think Valorous has his own lists. I may be wrong though. You should be fine to make some money without advanced+. Before I got mine i used to AB in the stamp and food shop and managed to get a few good items. Of course I saw lots of good ones being taken away... But oh well

Sounds goood! I saved up for Lab Ray when I was still new to ABing, was a worthwhile investment I thinkk.
