My Summer Bucket list:

-Not fail my summer class

-Hang out with someone that's not a family member

-Go to a concert

-Try Japanese food that's not sushi

-Wake up earlier despite it being summer.

Yeah, I have no life.

Hmmm okay. I'll check it out! I've been to VA Beach but ti's always so damn crowded. I just wanna hit up the beach once this summer with my husband. He rarely goes to the beach with me! He's such a loser, lmao. Okay actually, I can't complain. We camped at the beach last summer for a few days cuz his dad rented a camp. We were literally a 5 minute walk from the sand and water. And it was in Connecticut. So it was nice and warm, but not too hot and the water was cool.

I don't like the beach so I'm with him!

OBX is very nice and great. We got lucky because last summer had so many shark attacks.

    • See LV & Galantis
    • Hike and see dinosaurs at Drumheller
    • Move to Philadelphia
    • Ride a century from Jamestown - Richmond - Jamestown (or in reverse)
    • Go on the boat with my grandfather and pick some vegetables from the farm
    • Avoid all sunburn

Oh, and a couple of violin-related projects that aren't really summer related in any way, they just need to take place in that timeframe. :p

Do you have any winter activities outside? We build snowmen, go snow-shoeing, skiing, those sorts of things

No, we don't get snow in Buenos Aires. Only on the southern provinces. It doesn't get really cold either, only around 40° F. I think it only snowed once here, and it was something like a historical event

I likely won't be doing anything this Summer besides taking classes and working my normal 8-5. What an exciting life I lead.

Summer is all year around in Arizona.

My mommy is coming out to see me for my birthday in November, so before summer doesn't end I'd like to take her to see the grand canyon.

Make sure you plan to do more than just visit the one rim of the Grand Canyon! There's so much to do there! If you can stay overnight and go to the bottom do it!!! Groupon has amazing deals for it!!! Ride a horse there! Go swimming in the water at the bottom!!! Watch out for the Uranium mining tho ;P

    Any cool classes? :p

    "Perspectives on Public Administration"

It's my first class of graduate school and I've been out of undergrad for five years. I didn't want to be overwhelmed since I am continuing to work so I am only taking one this Summer, and I wouldn't classify it as cool by any means.

Will be spending a good portion of my summer in SoCal so that's exciting. Don't really have much planned there except see Sister Act and spend time with family - will probably involve lots of Tequila Shots and Mexican Food.

    Otherwise:
    Go to some Jay's Games
    See Suicide Squad
    Learn how to lead climb
Go to the CNE and eat all the crazy food attractions - last year there was chocolate fried chicken and crab fries.
    Organize my room
    Get my life sorted out
Maybe visit Ottawa for a weekend getaway

It's summer! I've got my hat on backwards and it's time to fucking party.

My actual summer bucket list is:

ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING instead of lying in my room the whole day.

Have an encounter of the sexual kind outdoors because that has never happened and summer is the only time I'd consider it. Except bugs in orifices sounds unpleasant so maybe not.

Sleep on a proper outside and look at the night sky. Exscept light pollution everywhere.

That's pretty much it. I don't like summer all that much, it's too hot and I get flashbacks to shit times.

    - Spend an entire 36 hours in bed without getting out for anything.
    - Finish watching all of my backlogged TV series (there is about 12 series i need to watch right now).
    - Convince my boss to let me work from home for an entire week and not leave the building
    - - Optional achievement: don't wear any clothes for the whole time.
    - Go an entire week without eating any vegetables unless they are on a pizza or deep-fried (like potatoes).
    - Build a window frame made out of light-proof fabric to prevent any natural light from entering my room.

Not sure about you guys - but I'm stoked for summer :D

What kind of carnival is it? Lots of rides? art?

What kind of volunteering do you like?

Notting Hill Carnival is like a Caribbean street festival, lots of colours and feathers and food and music. I'd like to volunteer with homeless people; as it is I cry when it's raining at night because I know that there are people sleeping outside in the rain.

Oh, and one more bucket list thing. I'm joining the Army Reserves as a med student. Quite looking forward to that.

Takoyaki (octopus balls) is one of my favourite Japanese street snacks.

If you like noodles then you could try raman.

Enoki mushrooms rolled with slice beef (forget what this is called)
