That's why I played against my shell on a proxy. Then I always won and didn't have to worry about people quitting. Though..I was one of the people who would quit. It started when someone said "gg" (good game) to me in chat after the game took about 2 minutes because I was new to KQ and had no idea that I had to get all the keys to get to the door. Or how to use the powerups effectively. It made me feel so mad, it was like he was rubbing it my face that I sucked. So after that if I was losing and it was either towards the end of the game and I knew that I couldn't win, or if it was towards the beginning and everything was just going really bad, I'd rage quit.
Heh, I did that too! The quick chat feature on KQ was hilarious. A lot of the options sounded so passive-aggressive. Did you ever receive any angry neomails after you had quit?
When the KQ board was still active they had a thread denouncing the "quitters". A lot of users would keep a word document with users who had "quit" on them as to avoid playing with them in the future. I can't imagine going through all that effort, haha.
