Introducing... NeoCatdex!
This stylesheet has stars and cats and colors galore. It's as ridiculously over-the-top as I could make it while still keeping things readable and pretty
This is the BETA RELEASE of NeoCatdex. Beta means that...
- It's not perfect yet; this will probably be busted on some pages (total revamps take time!)
- I'm still working on this, so you'll see changes as they happen
- Features may be added or removed at any time
HOW TO REPORT BUGS
Please reply with your operating system + version and your browser + version. Include a link to the page where things are acting up and a screenshot if relevant.
I will only be supporting current versions of Firefox and Chrome. While I'm happy to debug quick things for Safari, IE, etc., they're not fun to test and this is just a little for-fun side project.
Some user-customized things, like backgrounds on profile pages or colors used in posts, may be hard to read/busted. While I could override these, I'll leave it up to users to design their pages as they see fit. However, I do override black/dark grey text colors in post bodies because copy/pasting brings that along.
I have the default theme (IP.Board) enabled and this stylesheet inherits some layout details from it. If things are looking super-funky for you and you are using a different theme, please give this one a try before reporting bugs.
HOW TO USE
Install Stylish for the browser of your choice: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera. Click on the Stylish icon and create a new style by clicking the last link. You can call it whatever you want; here's how mine looks after I create it:
Add the following CSS to your Stylish configuration and make sure that the style will apply to ALL pages on this domain, like so:
For easy copy/pasting, that URL is
@import url(https://bolditalic.org/codex/neocatdex.css);
Make sure to save your style and enable it:
...and enjoy!
NOTES ABOUT PRIVACY
I host stylesheets on my own domain because I also like to use locally-hosted commercial webfonts. This means that I could potentially be a jerk and log your IP and all of that nonsense. I don't, as I primarily host stylesheets for less-than-legal sites and have no interest in your personal details, but you have to take my word on that. Tinfoil hatters, I recommend not using my styles. More info on that is at the end of this post.
