A love letter to the supernatural classics of the 80's, Stranger Things is the story of a young boy who vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.

 

This series comes out in July and honestly it looks so sick I can not wait for this to air. Winona Ryder and a supernatural thriller set in the 80s count me in.

Very smart of you, S6 is freaking awesome (I watched it two weeks ago)!

I have no idea how scared you can get, but only the start was "scary". And pretty much everything scares me.

I already watched it all on Friday, it's very moreish. There's a general scary undercurrent throughout, first couple of episodes you'll be fine, third episode you'll get pretty scared at points and then as it goes on you'll likely be terrified at times (right up until the very end) but you'll keep watching because it's actually a really interesting story and the kids are quite impressive actors. Not too many jumpy moments, a few though.

 

I still quite fancy Winona.

I started this yesterday! I was hooked after about 10 mins. My friend asked me if it was scary, but I didn't really know what to tell her because I don't get scared easily. I just told her it's more suspenseful, I dunno.

It's been renewed for a second season, allegedly, and it'll be a sequel according to the creator.
