My name is the bastardized version of my name, made popular by cody's laziness.

I tried a bunch of my simpler handles and they didn't work, surprisingly. I wanted a clean break from my previous forum name so I tried to come up with something new. Audax is 'bold' or 'daring' in Latin and I don't know why it came to mind, except it did when I was getting annoyed at having to figure out a name... so it's short and simple, just how I like it.

Yeahhh!!! You guys do pronounce it right

The "pree" part is crucial. So many people pronounce it as the english word "pry" and omg that just sounds so weird and bad in my head I cringe thinking about it.

Yess! *high-fives @Swarley * :p

I got it right also because I have a few Indian friends, I suspect. Singapore is fairly multicultural. :D

The main reason I read it as pree is because it sounds really weird, but there's another complicated reason related to this one :p

In Portuguese, Y usually has the same sound as I, which sounds like the American E. And everytime I read a new name, I automatically read it in my mind in both languages for some reason, and I go with that one that sounds better to me

This is a simplified version of a name I've been using since 6th grade, when I created my Runescape account.

Why did I choose the name back then?  Fuck if I know.

I recently changed mine because I wanted people to know me for something. Like everyone knows @Swarley for his obvious Swarley from How I met Your Mother. I love cats! So, I was hoping I can be known loving cats, hence the random meow'ing on my statuses.

I started it about 3 years ago, but I don't get to do it often. I was going 2 hours south to Boston for my classes until the school closed. Now I think I have to go to Montreal or Connecticut. It's so much fun :)

What do you like about it? Is it hard or scary? Have you ever fallen off?

Yes you did :D

It's like every kids dream of joining the circus coming true! I was scared the first time I did it, but you're in a safety harness and the staff can control your speed as you fall to the net after your trick. I'm never had my hands slip off the bar, but I have watched people release their trick too early and "travel". Traveling is just going towards the catcher and possibly colliding. The catcher knows the tricks and knows when to signal the flyer to leave the platform and release the trick to be caught.

Here is a video of me doing the trick that's in my picture.

Wow. That looks so fun! Haha I don't know if I would be willing to try it. You must have pretty awesome upper body strength to do that, right?
