Mostly depends on how legit your account looks like. If you don't act too suspicious you should be fine imo.

I use the boards myself as well, really as long as you don't come off shifty no issues.

The idea behind staying away from the boards, and this doesn't really apply the same as it did back in the day, is that legit or not...if you say something on the boards that makes you an enemy or if someone sees your account and becomes jealous (I know right) they can report you and get you frozen easily.

 

It's not a big deal now since most people aren't asshats anymore but people can be frozen for just about anything if someone decides they don't care for your stupid face.

Yep. If you're off the boards you're less visible, so to speak.

 

A lot of people cbf looking at people's userlookups since the captchas went in though, so it's easier to get away with things

Just stumbled upon a (off-site) post from 2009 era about coming back from a long hiatus with UCs still on the account and how that was basically like suicide in the PC. I feel for y'all with UCs......that's just a plain, old hot mess right there.

Yep. If I had UCs I'd probably not post on the boards. All my other illicit activity is fine, but PC board is totally insane

Also don't buy a pet and then create a thread on PC saying "my friend just gave me this UC :o"

 

 

This is one of my favorite trophies in the entire game, it's a shame that they won't clear the frozen scores.

 

Perhaps time for somebody to start writing in to the Neopian Times asking them to clear those scores (but of course, do it from a shell, not from your main!)

I understand the "shiny" factors of UCs, but there's basically people tracking every single UC in existence so if SOME kind of "unexplained activity" occurs with them? Boom, frozen.
