Title says it all. I wanna know what movies have made you cry, wether from sadness or happiness. Partially because I like watching those movies and I need some suggestions :p

I'll start. The last movie that made me cry was A Dog's Purpose, that one with the controversy and boycott stuff. I decided to give it a shot either way and holy crap, that made me cry so much. It has some really sad and really happy moments, and the fact that I've recently lost a dog made it even worse lol.

So yeah, what are some movies that made you cry?

Turbo. When he spun out at the end of the race I didn't think he would come back from it.

(Yes, I did get emotional about an animated movie based on a snail)

Balto.

Damn, I feel old.

Oh and the first 10 minutes of Up. That part.

fuckin lion king. When simba biting on dead Mufasa's ear saying 'dad, wake up' that will make anyone with a soul tear up.

Also, the first 10 minutes of Up is an emotional roller coaster.

I probably have more. In fact, I am certain I do. I am a much bigger puss now that I am a dad.

The short film "I'm Here" will do it too

I don't think I've cried from a movie and if I have I don't remember which one it is. Kind of odd since I've been told that I'm pretty emotional and wear my heart on my sleeve.

Saw Beauty and the Beast and Your Name with some friends, they cried in both of those.

Puella Magi: Madoka Magica Rebellion

You have to watch the anime Puella Magi: Madoka Magica or the two first movie before. (Beginning -> Eternal -> Rebellion -> Fourth part so hyped)

I recommend the two movie, since it remove some useless moment from the anime, which makes it feel less long to watch, but still keep all the information you need to understand the plot (Not like the Fate/Stay Night UBW movie). Also there's a little bonus in the second movie that you don't see in the anime. Finally, better animation and drawing (you could try to find the Blue-Ray version of the complete anime, which have better animation and drawing, but it is longer to watch).

Bonus point: All the movie parts are on Netflix (and the Anime too, I think. I don't know if it's the Blue-Ray version though).

I was going to say Madoka Magica, but thought it wouldn't count as a movie XD

So part of my autism is hyperempathy, so I basically cry at everything. I cannot control it. Tears basically uncontrollably flow and I don't even get upset or anything. But I'll be crying. However, there are movies that make me ugly cry.

Pay It Forward
Lion King

Shawshank Redemption

Green Mile

I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them.

Well, Rebellion is only available as an animated movie, just like The Lion King has an animated series :p

Speaking of movies and crying, Toby Maguire's ugly cry in Spiderman ruined the entire Spiderman franchise for me.

Rebellion isn't called "Puella Magi: Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3" for nothing ;)

The anime were put into movies, namely Beginning and Eternal.
