Viruses are thigns made to make your computer not runs or make it a terrible hard to use. Spyware is things placed on your computer that sends personal info of yours to them such as what you use the most program wise
So I would need to have Norton Antivirus and another one for Spyware...But which one?

Norton doesnt doetect much. I switched to kaspersky and I had like 120 trojans and like 4wormsJust to make sure, have you ever gotten any viruses from using these two? I got a virus recently and I had to get my computer fixed, so I don't want that happening again.

norton lags, takes up a lot of memory and barely ever actualy cleans a virus.I never had a problem with Norton myself honestly.
Best combo ever -
Zone Labs Pro Firewall(protects from hackers AND spyware/adware)
McAfee AntiVirus(protects from virus)
Ad-Aware(rarely needed with zone labs)

do you have a CD Burner that you could archive of stuff you only use occasionally?
have you cleared all your temp files?
I know it sounds silly but have you emptied your trash can? (I went to a non-puter person to fix there "c**p system" only to find that the reason it was running dog slow was the hard drive was full, there was over 5 gig of deleted music in the trash - cleaned and it was fine)
if hard drive space is so tight think about getting another one they are pretty cheap per gig nowadays (a cheap 80gig drive will set you back around 30quid)
