please share your thoughts on ani'me that you think are great but no one else seems to like...I really want to know...I want some new ones to whatch so please share and I will whatch and tell you if it is good or not even.....and dont say pokemon its underrated for a reason it sucks.... let me start I think reign the conqueror is underrated and also witch hunter robin and wolfs rain..they are damn good ani'me with nice plots that should be recognized more..what about you

Serial Experi'ments Lain definitely qualifies, it's one of those love it or hate it ani'me's with a great complex story that not too many people know about.

As for Chobits being unknown... I think not.  I believe it was shown on some English tv network (probably Adult Swi'm on Cartoon Network, but might be another), so a lot of gibbering crazy American fans have been created... though it's really not all that great.  Decent plot, nice ani'mation... but it was nothing anyone who has whatched many other series would think amazing.  So... I guess I could sum all of that up by saying Chobits is overrated, heh.

I don't know if anybody know this but how about, Rune Soldier. It's really good, I only seen 23 episodes, but I still have to wait because of ani'me on demand. Have to wait every friday.

Yea I've seen only 1 episode and the movie, it came on adultswi'm from cartoon network, and the episode I saw was on G4TechTV from ani'me unleashed.

I think Tenchi Muyo is a little underrated, and Evangelion is definitley. I love Evangelion, and at one ti'me it was my favorite ani'me series.

One that no one here has even mentioned: Sgt. Frog.  Hilarious manga about frog-like aliens that love gundam models o.0  It is great

EDIT: Oops, I was not paying attention. Sgt. Frog is a under-rated MANGA, not ani'me.  My bad.

I've heard of evangelion, and I've seen Lupin III, never heard of  rune soldier or excel saga. But then again, my ani'me viewing is li'mited basically to cartoon network, and they don't have many good shows.

yay! A tenchi and eva fan! I'm not alone here!, lol. Tenchi Muyo is great uncut, (not good for younger viewers though), and there are not enough positive adjectives in the English language to describe how awesome Evangelion is. Also, the Card Captor Sakura ani'me was too cute, although it was butchered in the english version to something totally unrecognizable. It was one of the few ani'me's I've ever seen that had a totally different outfit in every episode, minus the school uniform of course. Not to mention her costumes were sooo cute, lol.

hehe attempted rape! Later on in the OVA it get's into a good plot though about who some of the characters really are etc., but it's just good situational comedy fun. Now if you wanna see even more "guy who get raped by chicks daily" shows, whatch Love Hina  . I don't think an episode has gone by in that show when the main guy hasn't actually grabbed one of the girls chests, lol.
