Well some of you know, and some dont, but I am a manager of a pretty big music store called Sam Goody. When old magazines expire, we put the new ones in there places, tear the covers from the old ones, and trash the old ones. So....Getting to the neopets part of all of this, We started carrying NeoPets Magazine. This month when I tore the covers, there were booster packs in the ones to be thrown away. I opened all the booster packs, and took all the "Something Has Happened" cards. When I got home, I went to my Neopets account and did the codes. I got some pretty sweet stuff. I never take the NP, I got burned once doing that, but 2 of the good things I got are a Nova (TCG) and a FunnyDew NeggNog, which is pretty rare, no one else but a few pple have them in thier shops, and have them listed at over 100k. Soooo... I am looking forward to next months new issue..just to see what kind of goodies will be instore for me there!

Yeah, we dont throw them out til a new one comes in to replace it.

They sell just as well as the YuGiOh ones and the other comic books we keep them with. I dont think too many people in my area play neopets. We also sell the booster packs, and some other toys, but they dont sell either. oh well, I wouldnt pay for the magazine, I get to read it for free...LOL

you have to be at least 16 to work at Sam Goody, Media Play or Suncoast Video, all of which are the same Company, owned by Musicland Inc.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal because if you read the inside of a book it says if you purchased this book without a cover the publisher and those people did not receive any money and it is bootlegged =/ that's why they tear the covers off.

Thats nothing "not trying to brag or anything" but my aunt works for wizards of the cost and she can get the boxes of neopets tcg cards 3 or 4 at a ti'me now thats 108-144 something has happened cards and I uslally rake in 1mill!

my boyfriend bought me the magazine subscription and I like it I guess

but the something has happened cards dont bring in enough in my opinion

Once I went to some card store with my friends to get TCG cards and the clerk laughed at us lol..

I never went back there again, I dont even know where they sell the mag and I wouldnt buy it, honestly..like wuts the purpose of it

Well, they uh...restate what they say on the news and give you old or useless info such as Illusen is and earth faerie >_> and the last ti'me I looked at it it just had a bunch of tcg stuff.

very cool especially since it's free   I buy the cards every now and then and give the prize codes out in my guild.  Usally they are pretty lame prizes

o my dads work used to not throw away the magazines since they have a signed contract saying if the magazine does not sell the sellers have to take it back but employess are aloud to tear off the cover and take them home for free so I iwll look for neo one's
also I know this kid who works at a place where they pass out large ammounts of tcg cards cause his company puts them into the magazine for neo so he could prob get me some o I am talking away longest post I have made here I think woot woot!

anyways back to you under some reasons they do allow a 15 year old to work there if I am not mistaking

I redeemed over 70 rare item codes... never got a single rare item. The best is just some hard to sell TCG worth 15k or something.

The neopets merchandise are doing really bad in UK. I went to Hamleys in London, they told me that they used to carry all different type of neopets merchandise 2 years ago but nobody is buying them. Now you can only get some TCG there (and nobody seems to be buying them either).

I used to spent a lot of cash buying their goods but since they iced my account for no reason, I am not going to spend a single cents on Neopets anymore. Their ignorant support team has actually alienate a lot of their fans.

Free rare item codes. Sort of lucky but my luck in them is embarrassing. I never paid anything for them because my sister buys them and gives me the rare item stuff. I think the best thing I had obtained was some item worth about 7,500.
