Full sets seem to be going for 800-900k atm, probably cheaper if you buy all the pieces separately.
Its definitely worth the investment long-term (all you need are a couple of good colour zaps to "recoup" your initial investment), but what you get out of it is basically luck-based, though.

One pet turned green and one gained 2 levels. I haven't gotten a good color change in a while.
