just wondering if any of you have had any experience with them as of yet.

I'm currently running a 64 fx-55

I'm wondering what the performance boost would be when switching from a fx-55 to a 64-2 4800

if anyone has a place to find benchmarks for the new 64s that would be great.  mine comes in on monday so just wondering if I should actually build a system sell it and keep the fx or sell the fx system. I'm only getting one of the new 64s in so would be nice to know before hand.

also what are all of you running?

I have two systems at the moment only difference is the processor so ill give the specs on one

amd 64 3500+
msi k8n neo 2 platinum
quad 74 gb wd raptors raid 0
radeon 9800 pro 256
1 gb corsair xms 3200 plantinum
crap sony dvd burner and  sony dvd rom
thermaltake xaser V cases
silent purepowers 480w

sound pfft who cares about sound
sound blaster audiogy 4 pro

thats about it

anyways peace out

Your fx-55 wouldn't have any problems running anything right now anyway 0_0. Thats like a 800-900 dollar jobby there. I daresay you wouldn't notice too big of a difference, seeing as the 3500 can run basically anything you want it too.
