Does it matter which type of animal? Look, I get that you are devout in your religion. Hell, you had to look up whether or not you could wank off, but this is wierd. Check yourself before you say something like that:Yeah, like humans can populate deserts (camels) or jungles (lions).
Then the Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him."
God has given man a companion. If you believe that God created you superior, it is so you can look out for your animal bretheren.
I don't even subscribe to this belief system, and I can tell you that...

Exactly what Jillian said, religion is supposed to contradict science and is more on faith.Frizz just burned religions. But Frizz! They all KNOW it's not scientific, it's a leap of faith. A leap of faith which contradicts all known scientific facts...

*don't kill, steal, rape, etc. I think religion was a way to sooth the minds of people who have trouble understanding things, and to herd them into behaving well. It's just a souped-up Santa Claus which has been mutilated into insane dogmas and suicidal causes. Or something.
*dances cheerily to uplift the mood of this post*

That's the reason for this thread, as far as I can tell.

There is no reason for this thread. I think originally it was to lecture us in some obscure relatively unimportant philosophy, but we kinda made it our ownEh, every philosophy believes there is right and wrong. The point is, from where did our understanding of good and evil come? Did God instill universal truths to be good in all situations, or can an action be good in some situations and bad in others?
