I just got my ipod, so I wont know what to do

reset the ipod. I forgot how you do it. Is it like menu and the small circle in the middle.

Uninstall all the drivers, iTunes and iPod update.

go in and delete the software that u installed for the ipod
then reset the ipod by holding down the menu and enter button
then re-install the software
then reset the ipod by holding down the menu and enter button

I have the same problem but its because I accidnetly deleted my usb driver while reformatting

my ipod has deleted itself several times, makes beyond loud whirring noises, and quits out when I try to play a song, and I have to re-start it and do it all over again each time, I'm not too happy, then again this is one of the rushed models
