I'm recently just got a PS2 from my friend.  He sold it for me for $10 but he lost all the wires.  I was wondering if the PS1 wires work for PS2 as well.  I test but only the power plug work but the wires to connect from PS2 to TV isnt fix...???? is there any other secret hole where I can plug in ?

depends what ps2, is it the slimline? if so you need the official wires since a battery pack comes with it .

10 dollars only?!?! I dont think ps1 wire works for ps2.. they are 2 different tings..try getting the adapter and the wires from an electronics stores..they should have it and it shouldnt cost much... but are you sure the ps2 is in good condition and not spoit?

he is my homeboy..so He wouldnt play on me.  First he said 50$ but then after he tested it.  He said It can only play Ps1 and watch DVD..however I cant play PS2 game since whenever he put it in...It says error with the CD.  He said it might work if I clean the lens.

I think the Avi multi out works for both of the PS

but I need to get the power cord thought..It only around 5$..

If you tilt the lens to a level point and clean it, you shouldn't get the error. As for the wires, I will have to ask my buddies at Exploitstation.com.

Well..because the lens is dirty but If it doesnt work then I still can watch DVD..oh well only 10$.  And thanks INk with the tutorial on the site you post, I think I can clean the lens

I use both the AV chords as well as the power chords for both of my consoles.

well I use my ps1 video/tv wire because I broke my default one   but I have a normal ps2 not a slimline I'd never get one of those because they sux

Guess what..My old satellie power chord matched up..So I dont have to waste money ..and Now new problem encounterd, my PS2 cant play DVD or PS2 game..It only plays PS1 game.  I try to clean the laser but I need the smallest screwdriver which I dont have

Buy one (but it voids warranty). All you do is get a normal philips-head screw driver and take the bottom off, remove the end of the CD tray that comes out. Take of the white cover and the laser is a small square, just dip a q-tip in rubbing alcohol.
