so what exactly does this do?

Makes sure that you're registered at Codex and you have the permissions to use it (eg Private, retired etc)

so it kinda looks up your IP adress and confirms it with the server that you really do have the permission to DL stuff thats cool thanks alot

NeocodexCheck V3 is a security module for anyone on Codex who would like to make sure their program is not leaked to people it's not intended for.

it is totally standalone dll and ocx that logs into the neocodex website to validate you as a member, it then validates that you have been given access to run the program you're trying to.

(and Netbus, it's got nothing to do with what sections you can use - it's about who the programmer has given access to run the program)

yeah - I remember that way - SL, Hydro and I got together and decided to create a different way of doing it - this way it a lot more secure and it has the added advantage of being per-program

no but seriously, I think its perfect the way it is...I think what does need work is the internal php processes. thats my area

ya codex check 3 is basically the most secure version of checks that Mumei has released. The whole system is ingenius really, im sure the only thing that needs work is like hydro said the php processes which he can take care of
