Out of boredom, today I decided to go to the park and check out the changes they made and happened to see a group of 20 or so people playing Chess on the new park boards, so I go up to them and watch for a bit. Then, a man asks me if I wanted to play and wager $10, so I accepted (I had about $30 in my wallet at the time, and I'm one of the top-kids in the state) and I managed to win (the end-game consisted of my king and one pawn, vs his king, so it was close). Then, for the rest of the day, I played different people. I won 8, drew 2 and lost 5 or 6. If I hadn't had lost those games I probably would've made at least $80.

Anyway, my point is, become good at Chess (or another popular board game) and people for money. You'll be suprised how much money you can make

Well, it depends on how good you are. I win about 60% of my games against adults so I usually make an overall profit. Plus it's something I like doing.
