Tomorrow I have to take a high school placement test that'll determine whether or not I will get into the selective enrollment high schools I applied for. It's about 4 and a half hours long.

I'm nervous. It is the first testing date so I have no idea if the test is going to be easy or hard. I was hoping to take the test later on after my friends took it.

I'm going to be all alone None of my friends are going to test with me since I turned in my application 2 weeks before them.

I should do pretty well though because the score is out of 1000 and they look at:
- 7th grade report cards (I got all A's)
- attendance (Perfect attendance)
- 7th grade ITBS scores (I got an 89 in Reading and Math)
- entrance exam score (which I will take tomorrow)

Heya, I've already done mine (Australian) buuuttt.. I have really ****ty attendance, We don't get graded like that either (no a+'s and stuff) and I got in to Manly High. I am being forced to go, I want to go to ballies tho

Yeah for like the top high schools in the state you have to take a selective enrollment exam.

Yeah, Ballies is bawlgowah boys.. its one of those not so great schools.. all my friends are going there!

Ah, I'm in the same situation.

I really want to go to the same high school with all my friends, but I'd rather go a smarter high school to get a better education and stuff.

good luck.. idk about those exams.. I live in a small village (100 people TOPS pre class) so we have a high school for everybody... good luck tho

Well the high schools I want to go to are: (in order of favorite to least favorite)

1. Walter Payton
2. Northside
3. Lane Tech
4. Whitney Young

Most of my friends are going to Lane Tech, but Walter Payton is the 2nd best high school in the state and it's easier to get to. It also has more clubs/sports that I am interested in.

Entrance exam eh? Those are always easy - I wouldn't worry about it (even though you're in bed though and this probably won't get read until afterward) - good luck =D
