http://www.neopets.c...8387649&next=41

13 pages long as of now...
and it starts
Quote:
My New Years Resolution Is As Follows-
Should this black hat get washed and become white again?
Why hack to hurt, to destroy, to steal? You gain nothing, cept maybe the thanks of jealous people.
I'm not going to H2T (Hack to trash) anymore. I've thought about some things people have said, and it appears to be true.
If you don't know the difference between a Black Hat, and a white hat...
-Black Hat's hack to ruin things for othres
-White Hat's hack to help, find flaws, ect

Thanks Michelle, Brad, onering_, Jo, Andrew, Angelus, and all you other little nubbies who even attempted to change my opinions or question why I did certain things.
Have a happy new years =]
I hope this promise lasts. I'm still debating on weather or not to create an account and play legit. Peace out!
-KaosKinesis

Wow- especially given the theory that he hacked xxxx for a friend- if thats him ( scrolling through I dont see why it wouldn't be) Thats a really honorable thing to me.

So many people viewing this topic. No one has a response? Good for Kaos. If he actually sticks to it that is.

KaosKinesis has just taken most of the glory for a script kiddies' actions, and didn't directly find anything or do much himself.

As for a black hat turning white? What? Most of the hackers I know started hacking in the 70's and 80's, before you were born; they were older than you. I can't stand how kids these days thinks they or someone they know is a hacker. Okay, you know some very basic Javascript. so? With you're infinite wisdom you've managed to have a couple kids goto a website that steals their password for a children's website. Not so impressive on a resume.

Hackers built the Internet. Hackers made the Unix operating system what it is today. Sendmail was built by hackers. Hackers run Usenet. Hackers make the World Wide Web work. If you are part of this culture (which you're not), if you have contributed to it and other people in it know who you are, you may be considered a hacker, and, you're not.

How sly, he made that board so neopets would see and stop freezing him like instantly :p
It wont last, he'll se other "hackers" gaining their reputation and he wont stand to be beaten

Who cares? He's a internet nerd. Hacking and shit anymore honestly, espically if you play around with shit like neopets.

Sure if you hacked into classified files from government sites, then ya I'd say that's quite impressive, but even then you're still an internet nerd.

Well not really, it's still hacking.

British Version: It's like Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool versus Welling united.

American Version: It's like Oreo's versus Store brand chocolate.

Well said.... Well said... I would have to say that right now... there might be 9 or 10 REAL hackers in the world. The rest are just posers...

Eggy, you cant narrow it down that much at all, look at the DefCons and such, those are all real hackers that are running the kiosks and such...its really quite an amazing place

Sockopen, your wrong about hackers creating the internet though...it started out with the military, but there would be no stability on the internet without hackers, without hackers, the internet wouldnt have been able to last as long as it has.

Kaos is by far no real good hacker, and hes admitted it to me before, but, at least hes making an attempt to learn how to hack, somewhat.

I don't think military troops could make the internet. If you are talking about ARPANet, look up Steve Crocker and Bob Taylor, and then tell me they're not hackers.

True say. If you made the internet, you probably were / became a hacker later.

That is no where close to an attempt. More like an attempt to look 'cool' and gain respect. I'm going to laugh one day when that bitch get's lawsuits filed against him. Wonder what mommy would say to that, shouldn't be messing with the big boys.

He doesnt actually like neopets that much. He tends to get bored alot, hence his reasoning. and because neopets consists of 80 percent attention whores, you get lots of people following him and his attacks on neopets emo kids.

Kaos is by far no real good hacker, and hes admitted it to me before, but, at least hes making an attempt to learn how to hack, somewhat.

Yeah. Kaos has potential, but he lacks motivation.

I personally think that he lacks the skill and intelligence to hack anything else but a site made for 10 year old kids.

Thats not personal, thats a fact (sorta). The site was made for adults but who gives a shit about being politically correct there? fact is 10 year olds practically are the majoirty so yea

don't know about on codex but the Ankit Fadia who Alias posted is popular and they is currently like a cyber war goin on between Pakistand and India, with each of them having a team of hackers. Pakistans group is called G-force I think :/
And the guy I think your talking about is Kevin Mitnick
Meh Alias made me learn all this I kinda wondered off when reading about Ankit :p

sockopen, I wasnt saying military troops created it, the concept behind the internet came from military leaders who needed to make sure they could stay in full contact with the general type people, using a full mesh star topology networking(exactly how the internet is setup)

Alias, I wasnt saying that the cookie grabbing itself was an attempt at hacking, I was saying that he himself is attempting to learn to hack

Give me one example of something he has "hacked" on his own. That he did not look up or faked...
