I'm runnin a firewall now(norton), cause I had like 16 trojans before, so when I run my ab I disable it, and I use the program "End it All" to close down programs which are not needed. So the past 3days I've ran it and nothin, it doesn't attemp to grab a single thing instead it comes up with a error that says it had a problem refreshing the page(it comes up every once and awhile like right when it finds a item it won't grab it), do you think somethins wrong? or is my net just actin up and goin to slow.

    That's kinda funny, a security program is better cos it's LESS secure hrmmm... I don't even know what one my computer has. It seems to be working for the moment.

    Norton = Computer killer

    I have seen Norton rated one of the worst security programs EVER. It's so secure it ends up screwing you in your ass and messing up your computer. The first time I got it, it started blocking half my damn ports off, lagged my computer like crazy, and it's one of the hardest things to get off your computer.

    So I wouldn't even use it in the first place, McAffe is like 10x better.

    [I forgot where I read this, maybe it was on Codex], but I heard Norton 2006 crashed some computers. :o

    But yeah, get rid of Norton, it restricts you from doing a lot of stuff on Neopets. I use to have it, it's no good.

    Yea so I'm gonna switch now I guess, I was wonderin is it hard to uninstall? I've heard that even if u uninstall it, its still leavin a bunch of programs running on your computer, true or false?

    I still get this error "01:31:00 am: Error loading page http://www.neopets.c...hop&obj_type=2: (52, 'Empty reply from server'), retrying"

    how come I get that? like for magic shop I have ab set at
    timing 1-4
    speed 1-2

    what do I change so it'll grab stuff tht randomly restocks?

    Same here, I don't have Norton but I recommend AVG. I think AVG removed their free edition and made it trial. I think we can get you hooked up though unless this is considered not allowed, I would think it is because I got when it was free edition... :whistling: lol

    Step 1 - Delete Norton
    Step 2 - Install McAfee
    Step 3 - Run AB

    This should fix your problem. Norton sucks.
