If it started out full and it's now at the halfway point then it is half-empty. If it started out empty and is now at the halfway point then it is half-full.

I auctually think it's generally Half Empty for most of humanity... if we get a 90% on a test, we don't look at the ones we get right, we look at he 10% we got wrong and beat ourselves up from there
