QFE.I think people who blaim games on refs are just sore losers.
IMO
Ive missed attending 3 Chiefs games in 7 years, and I can think of one game where we actually did lose because of multiple bad calls.--Long story, dont get me ranting about it.
The Refs did call a bad game, and im sure everyone who watched it is well aware of it. In this case though, Seattle had many chances to improve themselves and their position in the game. Jerramy Stevens could have cause any one of the 6 drops he had, and caused a huge impact, or Seattle could have made a huge difference when they decided to audible when the clock was moving with 7 seconds left in the 1st half.
Pittsburgh played average, but Seattle played horrible, whether the zebras hurt them or not.

I personally thought he did make it into the endzone. The play is dead as soon as the ball crosses any part of the white endzone line, and its a touchdown. It doesnt matter where the ball is when he lands, it matters if the ball crosses the white line.I thought the officiating was pretty bad on both sides, but even Ben Roethlisberger says he does not think he made it into the end zone.

And I know about the refs. Refer to the 49ers, Giants playoff game and the referees even ADMIT they made a mistake at the end that cost them the game.
Going back to the Rotheliesberger touchdown, http://us.news2.yimg...tball_sb279.jpg
take a look at that and tell me its not a touchdown again.
Going to the pushoff call, from what I've seen, Jackson didnt have to pushoff, but he did. The referee was right in front of him, and in his angle, it looked like he was pushing off.
The only iffy call I really saw was the "block below the waist" when Hasslebeck was tackling Ike Taylor.

The pushoff call: I dont think it was a pushoff, but I do think it was intended to be a pushoff. I think Jackson thought the defender was alot closer, and that he had to pushoff to get open for the catch.
Block below the waist: It was a matter of interpretation with this one. Hasselbeck obviously was attempting to make the tackle, and nothing else. But, blocks below the waist ARE against the rules, no matter if they are intentional or not, and the "tackle" Hasselbeck made also looked as though he could be trying to block the defender. Look at it this way: If you run over somebody with your car, intentional or not, they're still dead.

HOWEVER. Roethlisberger dragged that ball over the line
I think the refs were too panicked that the Seahawks would dominate in the first half and they (the refs) would want to keep it a close game since it was the Superbowl for the third/fourth quarter.
^^One of the many theories.^^

So many bad calls , so many penilties were supposed to be given out to the Steelers , but non were given. Its those bad calls that ruin the whole game.
I was very upset on the day of the game , but Im a little more calm now...
