They are both pretty plain in my personal opinion I was out of ideas going to read some tuts and see what I can come up with after

However what do you think?

For the sig I would say 7/10, it is a little too plain but just explore new ideas and techniques and you'll get better =]

You are right it is kinda plain. The render also looks kinda low quality. I personally would have resized the render (or tried to find a better one) and put it inside the border of the sig. Over all it still needs work. I do like the way you did your name however. Keep in mind that this is all constructive critisism. No offense intended. Keep trying and you will indeed get better.

looks like you're a beginner, the render is squished, use more colour, add some depth, work on text, still lots of room for improvement

Sometimes, simple sigs are the best. I don't know much about sigs, but at least I can read the text on yours because it'is not always easy with experienced gfx members

But there's a few tutorials if you wanna improve in the same direction as other codexian fellows

If you're using a darker skin you can see how little the hair is cut out, if you want to do cut out sigs, you need to find VERY high quality renders, and for now, probably ones that are already cut out for you.
