Excuse me Netbus, but I am not "talking shit" nor am I insulting Cat. Infact, I am even happy he is back.

What facts have I said, that he is aiming for admin? Well, apparently, it isn't me that has my facts wrong. Quote from Cat:

"Everyone! look now!

to ur left! ur not looking left enuff! no, lef ton ur screen.

Cata is full progger and retired memeber again. Sadly my reinitiation into Amdin will hav eto wait for now. (Just beuracratic garbage getting in the way, I will be there one day )"

Is he joking? Maybe, maybe not, he would need to clear that up, but from what I see, he is shooting for admin.

Now, what other facts have I said... Oh yeah, about how all he talks about is himself and sex-related stuff. Not fully true, but a large majority of his posts since he came back are like I said, bragging about himself or something sex-related. He has a few posts helping other people, but not many.

Lets see, what other facts do I have wrong, Cody? Or any facts at all , for that matter. Besides the two things I listed, everything was either opinion or speculation.

Oh yes, how did I insult Cat? I would like to know.

I dont care Cody, I am pissed off with Noiti's actions lately, firstly going on about letting Jamie back in, after everything he CENSOREDin has done, I would of thought Noiti be the last person letting him back,

Well, after multiple references to getting administration, the joking seems alot less like joking.

Hey, I am all for giving him a chance, getting to know him and all that jazz, but like I said, over a year of being almost completely inactive, he comes back and gets retired and programmer. Seems like it should have taken atleast more than one day.

This isn't a disrespect thing, I don't even know them, but quite frankly, in the rules it says that you will be stripped of your ranks if you go inactive.
Less than a day later this person has all of their ranks back and a flecking news post. THIS is the sort of thing that has everyone crying favortism.

OMG OMG Catalyste is back! GREAT, however, he's been inactive for a year or so...we don't know him. How he just jumps right back up there is a little sickening. I don't CARE who he is, I wouldn't care if it was the flecking president. He needs to prove himself all over again.

I agree with Amy, Noiti rushed into this and it needed to be thought over for longer than a day.

Sakura, you're right. It IS blatant favoritism.

But here's the thing: when he left, just about everyone liked him. He comes back, and a good amount of those people are still here; Admins, Smods, etc.

It may seem unfair to the members who don't know him, but life goes on.

Sorry, but you lot attacking Noit's decisions are quite retarded. Yes I mean that in the insulting kind of way after the way your treating Cat, Net and Noit.

Sorry, but why does he need to prove himself? Was you on the old board when he was active, programming programs day in, day out, keeping as all amused? No, then he doesn't need to prove himself to the people who know him, and you're right, those people are in higher ranks, maybe there's a link between him being and old member and going inactive, and us still being active and therfore recieving higher ranks? Ya see?

And how the HELLLLLLLL, seriously people, read this post or I will kill the person who ignore this bit, IS THIS FAVOURTISIM, I mean seriously, H.elf, AUS are two members who are way more INACTIVE BUT YOU DON'T see posts about them getting their status back again. No.

(by the way that above paragraph was meant to deal witht he caps lock and shit to get your attention).

Seriously, you guys don't know anything about this guy or his situation, you refer to a rule that was made months after his left. Just because it's in the rules doesn't mean they can't change or they're set in stone.

Okay, I just have about one more thing to say before I stop caring about this whole ordeal.

Someone mentioned that he got retired because of his loyalty to Codex. Loyalty from other members constantly goes ignored. I don't even want to bring it up, but it proves a good point. Netbus, you remember that whole "Take Codex down" scheme by Kyo? I could have not told the admins about it, and it could have been bad. Not disastrous, but bad. Instead, I told the admins about it and worked undercover on that site, even had my main account suspended or whatnot and browsed around as Malachi for a little while. I went in and screenshotted, and sent to a staff member all their illegal stuff like warez. It may just be me, but that seems pretty loyal. What did I get for my loyalty? I really didn't care about the trial mod spot, but what really got me mad was that you, Netbus, went into retired and made a thread labeled "Stryyp" and said that out of everyone, I deserved the trial mod spot the least. I agree with you, I shouldn't of had it, but it just gets to me that Cat gets a parade when he gets back for his "loyalty" and I get a topic bitching about me.

Sorry for anyone who may get mad at me for bringing up that whole undercover ordeal, but it proves a point.

There, I now do not particularly care anymore :p

I really, really shouldn't be posting this, I think I have to though. I'm not bashing anyone, I just want to point something out. I don't know Catalyste, but, I do know the rules.

    This redefines the word favoritism.

Catalyste leaves on his own free will for a full year, comes back and within a day is a full Programmer and a Retired Member.

I leave the Junior Programmer position on my own free will. In the meanwhile I still help and contribute in the programming sections and over MSN, and I released two programming tutorials and another program, and I have to re-apply for my old position, the application takes 3 weeks to be decided upon, and the position is much less than that of a full Programmer and Retired...

    Anyways, welcome back Catalyste.

I'm not mad about not "making the cut". You were decently respectful in that topic, but instead of other people just being respectful and saying something along the same lines of what you said, people went out of their way to insult me. That is what really bothers me :)

You said something along the lines of "I respect him for what he did but he doesn't seem like staff material to me" whereas other people said "I don't like him. Too blah blah blah blah not very blah blah blah blah"

    Yeah, I think I'm done.

LOL.... and the beat goes on and on.... why you all just stop right now go back to all your post and edit them to say nothing more then "Welcome Back Cat"
then after each reply to this thread say "Just wanted to show you I missed you"

then no one has to read through all this he said she said bullshit and we all move on.

Hey, Cat? I think you could be welcomed in a more friendlier way if you come and really introduce yourself. There are a ton of new people that have never met you or even heard of you, myself included. I understand why some of us feel the way we do, because we don't even know you. Consider it another test you have to take. Just like you had to appeal to so many people to get your positions before? Well, earning our respect will go a long way too. I think I can speak on behalf of a couple Private members and some regular members too. Its not cool to feel left out when someone comes back. Hopefully this makes sense to you. Hang out with all your old buddies, but try to include the rest of us too.

    EDIT: There, thats better. :p
