DUDE, You are so racist. I bet your dads dads mums dad was from Swaziland, your being racist to yourself. Alien. I think America has loads of stupid rules, Mexicans are cool!
Swaziland? What in god's name is that?
Call me racist, call me what you will - I'm proud of it.
But, I'm sick of these illegal mexican immigrants who don't speak english, and expect us to learn it. No, fu*k that. You try to make a conversation with me in mexican, I'll smack you.
I'm german and english - My ancestors, were at one point, also immigrants. . . but, they weren't illegal. They came here legally from england, and began the colonization process..
Anyways, I don't mind the immigrants, or the mexicans. Just...speak...english....

Actually, the United States doesn't have a national language. In the last census, English was declared the Majority language, but unlike every other country on the planet, we don't have a national language. Thus, all government processes have to be available in any language that the Census showed was spoken here. Its a pain in the ass.<grins stupidly>
Hey, y'know, it worked against the Mongolians.
No, seriously. I am against illegal immigration, because y'know...it's illegal. However, I am not against immigration. I think they should be let in to work and should pay taxes for a short-term solution and be set down the right track towards citizenship.
Of course, the long-term solution would be to just annex Mexico and get it over with.
I am getting sick of Spanish being practically expected if you live in the southwest. You can't get a good job in customer relations unless you are bilingual, which, while it makes practically good business sense, pisses me the hell off. Our national language is English, and if people want to immigrate here, they need to learn to speak it.
Basically, my view on the border problem is the same as Maddox's: make them all legal. If everyone that crosses the border is issued a visa on the spot, is made a citizen, and is registered for things like taxes and social security, then they won't be able to take the job for less money than anyone else, as they'll have to pay taxes too. There would be no benefit for employers to hiring these imigrants anymore, as they are legal and would have to process the paperwork, provide healthcare, etc. etc. The entire demand for piss-poor workers would drop, as everyone coming across the border would want the same money as a home grown whitey to pay their taxes.
Or we could take over Mexico.
Will expand my views at a later date. I've got to be off. Ta
