Yep, sebaceous cyst. Similar to a spot though but they are cased in a sac...you're not meant to pop them or they spread.

and its a bacterial infection so yeah, it would spread if popped

I believe that's for boils...you really dont want a cyst to burst since they can be easily removed whole anyway.
