for my 16th birthday (in a week ) my dad says I can either get a 30gig ipod video, or a psp + 1gig memory stick... this is the hard part... which one to get >.<

im thinking psp because it can play games (mostly all I would use is super nintendo emulator), and can hold *some* music, but it can hold very limited family guy/simpson/futurama/south park episodes... the ipod on the other hand can hold like... all the shows I have... but I have 2000 songs... psp cant hold all that on a 1gig stick >.< I cant choose dammit xD

Me personally would get the Ipod Video. I would listen to music and watch TV more then play games. Also, you have 2k songs

Well said, I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a fork than watch a movie on a screen the size of my thumb.

I personally would choose the PSP.

PSP!!!!! you can listen to music....watch videos and is such good quality....play games which is also good quality and even go on the internet with a wi-fi connection can and ipod video do all that?

just get a portably media player... like... an Archon or RCA RD2780... I think theyre near the same price as an iPod video but... with... dun dun dun... A BIGGER SCREEN theyre like... 4 inches or something.

if it was me, id definitly take the psp. At lease the screen is a decent size, and its got everything you want...

Go for the PSP it is so awesome. I mean it is so nice, and you can put a ton of songs on it (if you have the memory stick). Also I think it is more expensive then the IPod you have. PSP is so fun. The 1gig memory stick (if I havent forgotten) is worth like $40.00. So, this is just my opinion though.

I would choose the iPod. You could download music and it doesn't cost as much. With a PSP, you have to buy games and movies unless you get homebrew movies.

They both have the ability to play porn. They both can play music. Both have a long battery life. PSP can play games.

It was close but with PSP you can own people in games. Only downside to that is you have to spend more money.

Ipod Videos. I got one. They are fantastic. I payed less for my Ipod Video than I know people did when the Ipod first came out. One of my friends payed $600 for a 2nd Gen 20gb Ipod when it first came out. I payed $400 for a 30 Gig Ipod Video when it came out. All in Australian money of course.

PSP is the way to go in my opinion. As long as you an spend a bit more in games, a big screen is much better. Plus the option to do much more is available plus the fact iPod is made of shoddy material. I trust Sony over Apple.

It depends. If your a big handheld gamer them I would asume the psp is best. But if your like me and not much of a handheld gammer then get a ipod.
mostly if you likr music get a Ipod if you like games get a PSP.

I'd get the iPod. The PSP is way more expensive with the games, movies, and the memory sticks.

I had the choice of an iPod or PSP for Christmas, and I choose the iPod. In my case, it was much more worth it.

I dunno, sony makes some pretty low quality stuff . My playstation literally fell apart just from being old. My ps2 is shoddy xD. My dvd and cd players both suck ass and have to be repaired. My gamecube on the other hand... indestructible

You should ask him to get you the psp, and then give you the money that would be spent on the memory card. Then you can save it and get a bigger memory card in a little while.

Get the PSP. Sure the iPods good, but I have both PSP and iPod and I use the PSP alot more.

I have both, get the PSP because it can use everything, then maybe wait for an ipod
