Hmmm... didn't they say they were going to do this a while back? Hmmm... I doubt this will really happen.. it would be a BAD move for the company. They gain so much from ads anyways :p

Soo, uhh, I'm the only one who is going to call this bluff? It would be all over AimToday, and AimTomorrow, even though it does not exist . . .xD

Unreliable source.. but if AOL were to do such a thing, that would start their downfall.

I had an AIM account but that was only to sell Neopets stuff because everyone had aim. Then when I quit Neo I stopped signing on AIM and went pure MSN. Aim = Crap.

Aim's new Triton sucks sooo bad. It's slow as hell and isn't as organized IMO. But that's just crap that they'regoing to start charging people. They should like sell more t-shirts or something like that, not charge people for using it -_-

Lol. I tried getting the old AIM back...even though I never use it anymore but I couldn't find it. All of my friends probably don't even know wtf a hard drive is so they can't really help me with any stuff like that.

It doesn't make sense that they force you to pay to chat on aim, possibly an increase at adds but forcing people to pay will take a chunk out of there already small amount of users. The source doesn't look too trustworthy either :p

    Its TRITON, not triNton.

You can get the old aim here:
