Would anyone happen to know how to foward a computer's IP address through a router? I need someone to be able to see my computer's IP address and not my router's IP address. Any help, even a place to look for info would be greatly appriciated.

I don't think you can do that...but www.whatismyip.com and www.whatismyip.org will give you your IP.

Can't you forward the port that they would be trying to get the info through?

    http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

I wouldn't be sure what port it would be though/

Well, that might work if yer trying to do that...when you're on a router, the router is also a firewall...if you run a CS server, you tell it what ports to use, and the client uses those ports..basically, a port forwarding is like a door in a solid wall.

Thats kind of what Im trying to do. I am trying to get my TS server back up, but the router is sending out its IP and blocking anyone from joining. So maybe I can just port forward like you said.

yep port forwarding will fix that as travis said your router is just acting as a firewall and blocking them from connecting to your computer.

    What router do you have?

This is how i do it.

    Start > Run > cmd

    ipconfig

get the ip address mines 192.168.0.2
looks for the defult gateway mines 192.168.0.1 then open up internet explorer and type in that address and it should bring you to a login screen I dont no wht your username or password would be but if its defult try
    root:1234
