You don't know what Emo is dear boy, for someone who claims to know alot about music, you have proved over and over again, you do not.

So, Hawthorne Heights isn't emo? My Chemical Romance isn't emo? The Used aren't emo? The Used's hits are pop-punk at the most, But have you heard Take It Away by The Used?

That is what I listen to, and those bands are emo. Fall Out Boy on the other hand, is not emo, and if you are saying I called them emo, I never did, and never will, they are not emo.

    When I said

The rest is Punk or Emo, or both -_-

I wasn't refering to new Blink stuff, I was refering to the other bands I listen to, that I talked about above.

For example, look at the page of The Used on Wikipedia...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Used

I quote this, "Genre(s) Screamo, Hardcore Rock"

You have to look at the lyrics for Take It Away aswell."I'm lying to myself, And this dagger's my excuse, I'm a pawn, I should have paid up, and I left an hour late,I was laid up" I'll link you http://www.sing365.c...8256EFA0008D19D

    Take a look :D

As for them being both, AFI is a good example of Punk-Emo. A lot of their new songs are sadistic, and about suicide. There is also a difference between screams. Punk and Emo screams are different. Look at Billy Talent, punk screams. One of my favorite bands aswell. Now, look at Hawthorne Heights, AFI, Alexisonfire screams. Much different screaming.

    Beat that :p

for someone who claims to know alot about music, you have proved over and over again, you do not.

Also, when else have I proved this "over and over"? That I would like to know.
