I just ordered Windows Vista BETA 2 and Microsoft Office 2007!!! I'm so happy right now, and can't wait to get them!! Although they said they will come in 2-4 weeks :(.. oh well, I can wait!!

Anyways, with those I plan on installing Vista onto my computer who has the perfect specs, well.. almost perfect... it's not a 64 bit, but I ran the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor and said that my computer will work fine with Vista Ultimate and I will be able to use the Aero Glass theme!! So, yeah, I plan on installing vista and having XP on my computer too. It's going to be cool, I'll be able to switch from os to os.. just can't wait to try Vista, finally I'll be able to judge it from my point of view!

And, well.. for office, my dad just really wanted me to order it, since he works a lot with it and he wanted to see more of it. Still can't wait to try the new UI of it, though!

Discuss: Anyone planning on ordering vista or office?

    It's actually software...

And I don't plan on upgrading for a while, if ever.

Advice: Never touch a microsoft beta unless you don't give two shits about your machine.

Well im running both and I have to say Microsoft has really fixed Vista up from previous Beta versions! You know that you can download them over the net right? You can just let it download overnight. Office is only a few hundred meg and can be downloaded in an hour or so.

It's good to hear that. And yeah, I know.. but I like having the cd itself, I don't know why.. makes it more official? Lol, well.. find it better that way.

Bleh, well, I'm a curious person and I love to try new products.. for instance: Windows Live messenger, I've been a tester for it for about 4 months and it was one of the best programs I've ever used!! And it was made by microsoft. :o

Windowblinds = nothing new to me

I put on a vista theme once in a while, until I get tired of it.. but they're nothing close to the real vista ;)

So would it be the first person you know getting soft over software?

I think I will just wait until the official release comes out. I really can't wait to get it, but I am not sure why. All my graphical interface specs are pretty much down to the lowest or off so that my computer will be optimized so the new interface does nothing for me. Hopefully it's whole layout will be nicer though.
