They seriously thought they could launch nukes at america, the country that controls the world, (sorry guys i m not native here but its true) without japan ratting on them. And on indpendents day!!! my third independents day and my parents didnt let me set of fecking fireworks. Well i just hope they dont blow up japan cause i want a wii.

I don't get how some people can be like "well as long as they don't aim at "insert your country" whatever.. This "as long as it's not affecting me, I don't care" attitude is what attributed to the Holocaust being allowed to happen and also other Genocides that have happened since. Even if they are "just testing" this is not a good sign for anyone. I really don't think ANY country should have Nuclear weapons or anything capable of mass destruction.

Indeed, testing is never good. I'm not saying it's OK, but since so many other countries test their ballistics, the US shouldn't target North Korea just because they happen to hate America. Same with the US being angry about Iran's nuclear technology, it's none of their business and they can't prove they aren't just trying to provide cheap energy for the citizens.

Bush thinks he's some sort of god, but in reality he's a stupid man in power making all the wrong decisions.

Anyways, yea we knew about N. Korea's capabilities back in like 2002 (well... some years back) from an article in TIME Magazine. But, hey, now we wanna be all diplomatic.

It isn't really anything to worry about. Several countries such as North Korea and Cuba pull this shit, and even though it pisses everyone but their closest allies off, the problems usually minor and not a threat at all. Theres a possibility of a threat, but they know their limits on who to fuck with.

If anybody hits America we will get mad and blow the hell out of them, then Russia and other Korea allies will momb us then UK and others help us out then there will be a ton of bombs being blown at each other. I personally think the missile would atleast be shot before it got to anywhere. If whoever it was launched at has the technical capabilities. Just a theory, but it could happen.
I say we smack N. Korea on the wrist. WTF else can we do?

Asia will probably be pwned if NK attacks America. We'll be in NK for a week, then we'll go into China and start a war there.

China didn't have their nose in Iraqs business. N.K probably would be invaded by now if China wasn't involved.

Of course, North Koreas main export is cabbage and not oil and so they arent really a threat to the world worthy of invasion - though they can cause more damage.
