Yeah, Ive had an electric Ice Cream maker for about three years, guess how many times Ive used it? About three. I decided I wanted to make some today and it finished about 20 mins ago. I just finished eating some of it and it was like an orgasm in my mouth. God home made ice cream is soooooo good.

I made "Old Fashion" Vanilla Ice Cream. It was EXTREMELY yummy :) Sometimes I let my dog lick the bowl after Im done, she wasnt allowed to this time- I licked it clean o.o

So, anyone here ever make home made icecream? Did you like it more than the store bought versions? Talk about how much you love ice cream.

Hmmm ....I have an old ice cream maker and when I tried it didn't seem to work properly. Then again I used regular salt in the outer part and someone said to use rock...Does it really matter that much????

I've never had homemade icecream, although my sister has been making popsicles out of melted Dum-Dums lately and they are AMAZING.

We make our own popcorn though. We use a whirly pop. It tastes so much better than using a microwave

    What wasnt working properly?

If it didnt fluff up as much as it should have or harden like it should have it was probably because you used regular salt instead of rock salt. It probably does matter a bit, but I dont know. Rock salt isnt expensive at all <_<.

Uhh, did you crush your ice as well? It wont work if the cubes are too big, and it may not spin if it catches a cube wrong.

I ate less than, I would guess, about 5 oz (Weight, not the volume) of ice cream, and 5 =/= 15*16. Your mass cannot increase by more than what you consumed <_<

Horrible wording but Im off to bed <_<

Jeez, guys, you don't have to be so technical. I meant that eating Ice cream often (which I do) could lead to 15 lbs on my stomach.

I enjoy my ice cream too much :(

I stayed up with my step sisters and my sister one time because they got an icecream maker. And they waited till night to do it. We were up pretty late. Then I got tired and passed out on the couch. Next morning the ice cream was horrible, and only my sister would eat it, since she was so proud that she made it. So later that day I drove down the food lion and bought her a carton of ice cream because I felt bad O_o
