This one is a bit better, nice to see you developing your own styles, but you honestly need to get some better fonts.

    www.dafont.com has some

Seriously.. Defaults are usually best, or maybe 1 or 2 simple looking fonts. NEVER download some super gothic knight font or something..

But anyway.. Your text, its the FF text correct? Though the sig is FF themed, the text still dosent go with it. If I were you, I would make 2 sigs always, one with text, and one without. At least till you get better. The background is a tad too simple. Looks like a distortion filter or 2 and it makes the render stick out a lot. Smudging can help blend a render a lot if you know how to use it. The color somewhat matches, but the render still sticks out too much. Try adding some gradient maps or color balances (look for tutorials on them).

But it looks like a good start and I'm glad to see that your well motivated =)

    Honestly children.
    Play nicely.

I'm going to edit the flames out of your posts, and leave the useful bits in.
    Settle any petty feuds elsewhere.

Don't be afraid to use tutorials. In fact, I would suggest using them for new gfx designers. When I start getting into new things.. like when I first started doing space pieces, I used tutorials too. Use them and learn from them until you can create better pieces on your own. That's what they're made for. smile.gif

Signatures not too bad. I'm not much of a filters kind of guy, but seems like you've got the basics of a signature down other than the stroke as well as the text to which Balmung gave some great pointers.
